PCC secures sponsorship deal
Village cricket club Pencarrow was given a major confidence boost as local law firm, AP Bassett Solicitors, agreed a sponsorship deal for the forthcoming 2012 season.
The sponsorship will support the purchase of the 2012 kit, which includes a revamped logo and a new take on the maroon club colours. It is also ‘a shot in the arm’ to help kick start the clubs 5 year development plan, with ambitions to increase participation in the great game and rejuvenate the village sides playing facilities.
"This is excellent news for all supporters and players of Pencarrow Cricket Club and a further lift to our five year development campaign to dramatically improve the ground and increase membership”, Oliver Sleeman, who is instigating a fresh approach to the club’s development, said. “We are delighted that they have joined us in our mission to improve the ground and facilities and engender a sense of team spirit and community at the club”.
